Overview
Kitch is a new restaurant app builder designed to be the command center for modern restaurants. From the beginning, the brand needed to stand out — not just as another food tech tool, but as a partner that helps restaurants run smarter and faster.
We developed the Kitch brand identity from the ground up, including the logo, visual system, and digital presence, creating a foundation that could scale from startup launch to national platform.
Challenge
Restaurant owners have seen plenty of apps come and go.
How do we create a brand identity that feels trustworthy and premium, but also simple and approachable?
How do we stand out in a crowded space while keeping the focus on restaurant owners and staff — not the tech itself?
Strategy
We approached Kitch as more than a logo. We designed a full brand ecosystem that was clear, modern, and scalable:
Logo Design: A clean, bold wordmark supported by a simple fork icon — a nod to food culture, but expressed with tech-like precision.
Visual System: A digital-first design language built on clarity and simplicity. A color palette balancing trust (deep green) with energy (highlight tones). Typography (Roboto) chosen for approachability and ease across web and app.
Website + Digital Presence: A modular design that showcased how Kitch works through interactive storytelling. The site was built to feel like a live demo, not just a brochure.
Messaging Framework: Simple, “command-style” copywriting that speaks directly to restaurant owners in plain language, making tech feel human.
Results
Strong brand foundation: Kitch launched with a clear, modern identity that feels premium yet approachable.
Scalable system: The logo, colors, and design system flex across app UI, marketing, and digital campaigns.
Market positioning: Positioned Kitch not as a tool, but as the control center for restaurants — simple enough to use daily, strong enough to build a business around.
